The Silmarillion

I read it five times and I can't stop...every year, at least once I have to lose myself into this book, sometimes I really think I prefer this book than the lord of the rings or the other Tolkien's books! There's a sort of spell around this book which make feel different and more deep sensations, when I think to the epic story of Turin Turambar, Beren and Luthien or the various war fought in the early ages I can only remain astonished by the greatness of this author. That's not a simple story about good and evil, it's THE story about it, no evil lord of every other book can be compared to Morgoth and no other hero can be compared to all the elves, dwarves or men who died for the middle earth's salvation. No king is like Thingol, Turgon, Fingolfin and Feanor, every characters has been made with a special care to every aspect in a so special way that they remains with us forever and I miss them when I can't meet them in this book for a long time.
